By:yelifang    Time:2010-05-12

In the run-up to Diabetes Week and the Football World Cup, Diabetes UK has launched a keepy uppy competition to find the most unusual location that a person can do a series of keepy uppies.

The competition is open to all and prizes include a signed football from the Guinness World Keepy Uppy Champion Dan Magness, a summer holiday kit and Toni and Guy hair products.

Have some fun

Dan Magness said: "I am supporting the Diabetes UK Keepy Uppy competition which marks Diabetes Week 2010. Healthy lifestyle is important for everyone, especially people with
diabetes.

"To become the Guinness World Keepy Uppies Champion I kept a football up for 24 hours in May 2009. Keepy Uppies are great fun and also a brilliant way to keep fit. Enter Diabetes UK's competition and be in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes including a signed football from me."

Ideas for you

Ideas for unusual locations could be in a library, in front of a famous monument, on the beach or on an ice rink. Remember to stay safe and always seek permission to film and use a ball where appropriate.

Films should be no longer than 30 seconds, and the deadline for entries is Sunday 19 June 2010. The best films will be used throughout the site.
